Okay, so I finally got around to watching Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang (yeah yeah I know slowpoke.jpg) and I cackled so hard that my throat really hurts now. : <

Therefore, I dub it a HORRIBLE MOVIE -5 OUT OF 5 STARS. nah I'm just trippin' it rules hardcore

Oh, and while I'm at it, I totally dig Something Awful's Instruction for a... series, which ended a week or so ago. One part creepy, one part funny, one part just kinda cool. It reminds me of John Dies At The End, for lack of a better comparison; internet comedy spawns some really neat horror. What's up with that?

Oh man, how did that happen? July, I did not give you permission to be a month; what happened to June? JULY I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN YOU

JULY GO TO YOUR ROOM


So, uh, I just got back from Cape Cod! It was wonderful and fabulous and relaxing and exciting and I don't know how I've lived without a salt marsh in my life until now. Seriously, our cabin was on the salt marsh instead of the shore, and we thought it would be disappointing, but it was easily the highlight of the trip. Letting the dogs tumble long green muddy fields at high tide, catchin' crabs and snails and clams at low tide and then letting them go, watching the moor hens in the morning, hearing the coyotes yip at night-- IT WAS REALLY COOL! Look at me, with my dorkish enthusiasm. Look at me, the proverbial puppy piddling on the floor with excitement. That is how cool a salt marsh is.

Go. See a salt marsh. Get your little pink feet stuck in mud that stinks like sewage, lose a shoe. Smell a dead crab's crabshell. It is to live.


Only low point was comin' down with Havingtoomuchfunitis in the last days of the trip and being a big sniffly bag of flu. Good times!


Naturally, I have a HUGE backlog of photos to edit and get to postin', JULY I AM LOOKING IN YOUR DIRECTION WHY DID YOU COME SO FAST WHAT THE HELL JULY. So, in the interest of working through that backlog, some dog park pictures from a few weeks ago:

We went to the Bronx Zoo on Friday! IN THE POURING TORRENT OF RAIN. ALSO WE GOT LOST

It was pretty cool! We need to go back so's we can actually see animals outside, though- we basically only got to see Jungle World, World of Darkness, and the Reptile and Mouse Houses. It was still super-worth it though! We were like little kids and/or Japanese businessmen, all "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH"ing at every tiny thing.

I am so psyched for the new Indiana Jones movie comin' out tomorrow night! Indy~~~ Aaaah I'm alight with the flames of moe~
